私は1990年代から東京を拠点に、金融、不動産、広告・出版、通信、映像制作、イベント企画、マーケティング、法人営業など、幅広い分野で実務経験を積んできました。
2008年に株式会社モーネッドプロダクションの代表取締役に就任し、イベントプロデュースや体験型マーケティング、ブランドプロモーションなどの事業に携わってきました。2017年以降は日英翻訳・英文編集を中心に、IR・財務開示、法務・ガバナンス、サステナビリティ、コーポレートコミュニケーションなどの分野に取り組んでいます。
私が翻訳において重視しているのは、原文への忠実性だけでなく、その背景にあるビジネス上の意図や、最終的な読み手に伝えるべき内容を正しく理解することです。これまでに培った実務経験を活かし、正確性、用語の一貫性、自然な英語表現、納期の厳守を大切にしながら、翻訳会社の皆様にとって信頼できる長期的なパートナーでありたいと考えています。
My professional career in Tokyo, Japan, has spanned finance, real estate, advertising and publishing, telecommunications, film production, event management, marketing, and corporate sales since the 1990s.
I became President and Representative Director of the company in 2008, initially focusing on event production, experiential marketing, and brand promotion. Since 2017, my primary focus has been Japanese-to-English translation and editing, particularly in financial disclosure, legal and governance documentation, sustainability, and corporate communications.
I believe effective translation requires more than linguistic accuracy. It calls for an understanding of the business context, the intent behind the original text, and the expectations of its intended audience. Drawing on my broader professional experience, I place particular importance on accuracy, terminology consistency, natural English expression, dependable delivery, and long-term relationships with translation agency partners.

MONEDO
「MONEDO（モーネッド）」という社名は、代表者 Michael O’Connor のイニシャル「M.O.」に、英語の「in」を表す「N」、そして東京の旧称「EDO（江戸）」を組み合わせた造語です。東京を拠点に事業を展開する当社のアイデンティティを表しています。
